HKBU athletes won several group and individual medals at the recent University Sports Federation of Hong Kong (USFHK) annual aquatic meet.

This year, the HKBU Men's swimming team came fourth in the Men's Overall Championship, the Women’s team claimed fifth place in the Women's Overall Championship while the Men's and Women's teams clinched the fifth spot in the Overall competition. In addition, five students snatched several medals in the individual events. They are:

50m breaststroke: Chan Yin-kwan (Sports and Recreation Leadership, Year 1)

First runner-up medal

100m breaststroke: Lau Chak-lam (Sports and Recreation Leadership, Year 3)

100m freestyle: Nicole Ng (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 2)

200m breaststroke: Chan Yin-kwan (Sports and Recreation Leadership, Year 1)

400m freestyle: Keith Sin (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 1)

Second runner-up medal

50m butterfly: Natalie Mok (Associate Degree, Year 1)

50m freestyle: Nicole Ng (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 2)

200m individual medley: Keith Sin (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 1)

Organised by The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong on 22 October, the contest attracted some 300 athletes from 12 local tertiary institutions.
